Programma di Fellowship


La Reading Shoulder Surgery Unit offre due fellowships di un anno ciascuna in Chirurgia della Spalla sotto la direzione del Prof. Ofer Levy MD MCh(Orth) FRCS, Mr Giuseppe Sforza MD,MCh(Orth), Mr Juan Bruguera MD PhD, and Mr Ali Narvani FRCS(Tr&Orth), e offre un approccio a 360° alla chirurgia della spalla. 

La Fellowship inizia a Gennaio e Luglio ogni anno. 

Il Fellow acquisirà esperienza in tutti gli aspetti della chirurgia della spalla: tecniche chirurgiche artroscopiche e a cielo aperto, trattamento della traumatologia della spalla, incluse le tecniche mininvasive, e la protesica di spalla. 
Inoltre, il Fellow sarà coinvolto nella ricerca clinica e nelle studio delle scienze di base. Il Fellow dovrà monitorizzare l'implementazione del database computerizzato ortopedico organizzato dal precedente Fellow; per continuare così la ricerca retrospettiva, per organizzare trials prospettici, che potranno essere continuati dai Fellows successivi e iniziare progetti di ricerca di base, che potranno essere supportati da altri junior staff dell'ospedale. Il Fellow della spalla prenderà anche parte e contribuirà all'insegnamento del junior staff.
